About CEO

Stacey Harcum, Multi-talented Musician, Recording Artist, never imagined his life taking a drastic turn from his musical dreams. However, it did when he encountered the Lord, Jesus Christ. Through that encounter, Stacey has come to learn his purpose in life: “I am a musician of God; called to play, sing, and write music that would not just stir the emotions of people, but touch and heal their souls, while giving them hope where there is none."

In Philadelphia, Stacey was born the middle child of three. As a young child, he tried to find something that would make me unique. Stacey found it in music when his mother signed him up to take piano lessons at the age of 5 years old. He quickly grew bored with piano. But, in the first grade, his school was giving out music lessons on different instruments. Stacey was introduced to the saxophone and his life has never be the same again.

By the age of 9, I played professionally…doing gigs at various clubs around the city. At the same time, I was introduced to gospel music from attending church with my mother. By the age of 12, I played on my first recording with a group called the Gilmore Ensemble.

After high school, I studied classical saxophone at Temple University and Jazz saxophone at the Philadelphia Community College and University of the Arts.

I've had the honor of playing, singing, recording and traveling the world with many of Philly’s great Artists from Teddy Pendergrass and Patti Labelle to Blue Magic and Sister Sledge; I've also shared the stage with world renowned Artists from Stevie Wonder to Kirk Whalum. Recently, Stacey released his first solo project titled Soul Exposed. Soul Exposed is a Neo-Soul story of struggle and triumph in manhood, fatherhood, and marriage, Philly style! He is currently working on the Soul Exposed journal and his second musical project.

Stacey resides in Claymont, DE with his family. He is the Minister of Music and Pastor of Worship and Arts at CareView Community Church in Lansdowne, PA.

Vision for Missionz in music

MissionZ In Music (MIM) was established in 2010. It is a phrase the Lord gave him, for musicians who understand that the language of music can be used to expose people to the heart of God. Playing an instrument is physically, socially, and spiritually, an important part of the development of the whole person we are to become.
MIM is for professional musicians who understand the power and influence they have in people's daily lives. MIM is used to bring attention and support to different charities, Intripenuers, entrepreneurs, and organizations that are on the heart of God.
